In recent years there has been considerable private investment in the rental market resulting more choice and better value for money for tenants. Although the values of properties in Edinburgh have increased sharply in the last five years, rental figures have remained fairly static.

Typically, an average one-bedroom property will range from between £400.00 and £550.00 per month, although there are of course always exceptions, with some prime properties renting at up to £1000.00 per month. One-bedroom properties tend to be harder to find and as a result tend to rent quite quickly.

Following on from this, two bedroom properties generally let for between £600.00 and £750.00 per month. Two bedroom properties are in good supply and you should find a reasonable selection to choose from. Three bedrooms generally start from about £800.00, four bedrooms from £1100.00 upwards etc.
